If you register for the in-person event for a minimum of 3 days before November 25th, you are automatically registered for the online event for free. After November 25th both events require separate registration: registration and payment for one of these events does not equal registration for both.

Vi ricevos konfirman retmesaĝon tuj post via aliĝo. Se vi ne ricevas ĝin, sciigu nin. Kiam vi ĝiras kotizon povas daŭri kelkajn tagojn, ĝis la banko traktos ĝin. Ĉiukaze ni informos vin kelkajn tagojn post kiam ni ricevos vian pagon.

Ĉu mi bezonas vizon por iri al Ĉeĥio?

Kiun ilon ni uzos?

Ni uzos Retevent, nian propran virtualan plurlingvan reteventejon. Por pli bona uzado, ni rekomendas uzi komputilon kun drata interreta konekto, kapaŭskultilon kaj mikrofonon. Per saĝtelefonoj la eventejo foje nur limige uzeblas.

On the 4th of March, all registered participants will receive an e-mail with a link to the platform and login information. You do not need to install anything, you only need a web browser (using Chrome or Firefox is recommended).

Ĉu la programo taŭgas por mia horzono?

Ni celas kiel eble plej igi la retan eventon tutmonda, tial ni strebas organizi programon taŭgan por pluraj horzonoj.

In addition to the official dates of Polyglot Gathering Online (from March 5 to 8) during which live talks and multilingual chat rooms will be held, the online platform will stay available for one month after the event! There, you’ll have access to the recorded talks you missed.

Yes, we are accepting suggestions for lectures and workshops (45-minute taster sessions). Lectures can be in any major language and some minor ones. Speakers should be motivated by the idea of sharing their passion with the polyglot community. Jes! Kvankam Polyglot Gathering estas por lingvemuloj, ne estas minimuma kvanto da lingvoj, kiujn partoprenantoj devas paroli. Se vi rigardas la pasintjaran programon (aŭ la pasintfojajn videojn) kaj vi pensas, ke vi ĝuus ĉi tian aranĝon, do vi estas bonvena partopreni. La kvanto da lingvoj, kiujn niaj partoprenantoj scipovas, varias inter 1 kaj >30, kun mediano de 6.

Kiujn lingvojn vi uzas dum Polyglot Gathering?

Participants at the Polyglot Gathering indicate which languages they want to speak with others. It is not uncommon to change the language in the middle of a conversation or when another person joins in. The most frequent languages are English, Spanish, German, French, Russian and Esperanto. Don’t be surprised if people around you sometimes speak a language you haven’t even heard of before. Most talks are in English, but other languages are used as well. The languages used at each talk are always indicated in the program.

Ĉu tio estas alia Poliglota Konferenco?

Ne, Polyglot Conference (Poliglota Konferenco) estas alia evento organizata de niaj amikoj Richard Simcott kaj Alex Rawlings, kiu kutime okazas ĉiujare en alia lando, kaj nun rete. Ambaŭ aranĝoj strebas kunigi poliglotojn kaj lingvemulojn kaj ebligi al komunumo de plurlingvuloj kuniĝi kaj kundividi sian pasion por lingvoj.
