Enguany hem preparat dos esdeveniments:
- The Polyglot Gathering Online from March 5 to 8,
- The in-person Polyglot Gathering in Brno, Czech Republic, from May 27 to 31.
Ambdós esdeveniments són diferents i cal que t'hi apuntis de manera independent.
La inscripció i matrícula d'un dels esdeveniments no dona dret a participar a l'altre.
Com m'hi puc registrar? Quant costa?
El registre pel Polyglot Gathering Online és obert. La llista de preus pels tiquets, la trobaràs a la pàgina de registre.
El registrament pel Polyglot Gathering a Brno, República Txeca (presencial) és obert. El llistat de preus apareix a la pàgina "Com participar-hi".

Si em registro pel Polyglot Gathering en persona, podré participar també al Polyglot Gathering Online?
If you register for the in-person event for a minimum of 3 days before November 25th, you are automatically registered for the online event for free. After November 25th both events require separate registration: registration and payment for one of these events does not equal registration for both.
Heu rebut el meu registre/pagament?
Rebràs un correu electrònic de confirmació tan bon punt t'hi hagis registrat. Si no t'arriba, fes-nos-ho saber. És possible que la transferència trigui un parell de dies per ser processada. De totes maneres, quan rebem el teu pagament t'ho farem saber.
Haig de tenir un visat per entrar a la República Txeca?
Pots consultar aquí quins passos has de seguir segons la teva nacionalitat i, si s'escau, et recomanem que sol·licitis un visat Schengen com més aviat millor.
Al Polyglot Gathering Online
Quina plataforma es farà servir?
Farem servir la nostra pròpia pàgina d'esdeveniments multilingües virtuals anomenada Retevent. Per tenir-ne una millor experiència, recomanem de fer servir un ordinador amb connexió a internet per cable i un parell d'auriculars amb micròfon. Els telèfons intel·ligents tenen unes funcions limitades.
On the 4th of March, all registered participants will receive an e-mail with a link to the platform and login information. You do not need to install anything, you only need a web browser (using Chrome or Firefox is recommended).
El programa s'adiu al meu fus horari?
Volem que l'esdeveniment en línia sigui tan global com sigui possible i, per això, estem intentant que els horaris s'ajustin al major nombre de fusos horaris possible.
Totes les conferències seran enregistrades perquè te les puguis mirar en diferit i, fins i tot, més enllà de l'esdeveniment – la plataforma romandrà disponible fins a un mes després de la finalització del Polyglot Gathering.
Què em dona el tiquet online?
In addition to the official dates of Polyglot Gathering Online (from March 5 to 8) during which live talks and multilingual chat rooms will be held, the online platform will stay available for one month after the event! There, you’ll have access to the recorded talks you missed.

Puc fer alguna contribució al programa?
Yes, we are accepting suggestions for lectures and workshops (45-minute taster sessions). Lectures can be in any major language and some minor ones. Speakers should be motivated by the idea of sharing their passion with the polyglot community. To submit your proposal, please fill in the form: Polyglot Gathering Online, Polyglot Gathering in Brno.
Només parlo una llengua. Puc participar-hi?
Sí! Tot i que el Gathering és per a amants dels idiomes, no hi ha cap requeriment formal sobre quants idiomes has de parlar. Si mires el programa de l'any passat (o els videos de l'últim cop) i penses que gaudiries d'un esdeveniment com aquest, llavors ets benvinguda o benvingut a participar. El ventall d'idiomes parlats pels nostres participants va d'1 a >30, amb una mitjana de 6.
Quins idiomes utilitzeu al Gathering?
Participants at the Polyglot Gathering indicate which languages they want to speak with others. It is not uncommon to change the language in the middle of a conversation or when another person joins in. The most frequent languages are English, Spanish, German, French, Russian and Esperanto. Don’t be surprised if people around you sometimes speak a language you haven’t even heard of before. Most talks are in English, but other languages are used as well. The languages used at each talk are always indicated in the program.
És això un altre Polyglot Conference?
No, Polyglot Conference és un esdeveniment diferent organitzat pels nostres amics Richard Simcott i Alex Rawlings que té lloc a diferents països cada any. Ambdós esdeveniments tenen com objectiu reunir políglotes i aficionats a les llengües i brindar a la comunitat políglota una oportunitat per a fer colla i compartir la nostra passió. Ens entusiasma molt rebre participants que han participat a les Polyglot Conferences i que es volen tornar a trobar amb altres apassionats de les llengües.
